A classic trek to two spectacular 6000m peaks in Ladakh, Northern India.
Join Base Camp founder Chase Tucker as he returns to Northern India since his last trip exploring the region in 2011 with local climbers.
The aim of the trip is to ascend both Stok Kangri (6153m) and it’s sister peak Guep Kangri (5950m) range lies on the southern skyline of Leh. Stok Kangri is the highest mountain in the range. The climbs are both technically straightforward and safe of any objective dangers, but give the beginner mountaineer an excellent introduction into high altitude siege style mountaineering.
It’s a challenging climb even fit of the climbers and is a great adventure into the Himalayas.
